Application Deadline

Friday, October 30th, 2009

You can apply to teach in this incubator classroom now for winter or spring quarter. Think through what you would like to do in the TLT Studio and fill out this application.

  • Do you have innovative ideas for using a room equipped with 25 Tablet PCs that your students can use to work collaboratively?
  • Do you have visual content that is best shared with up to 3 digital projectors?
  • Do you have learning activities that would work best with flexible seating arrangements?
  • Do you need to capture video of your class for your teaching and learning research project – or, do you want to?
  • Do you need instructional design and technology support that is just down the hall in Online Learning and the Educational Technology Center?

The NEW TLT Studio is available for you, for a one-class special event or an entire quarter.

We need a proposal for your innovative ideas for teaching with technology so we can work with you to develop and support your project. That proposal is included in the application. Available time slots will be limited, so please let us know early.

Applications will be reviewed by a panel of TLT Studio Support staff. We seek innovative proposals that take advantage of any combination of these features of the new room:

  • 25 Student HP Tablet PCs
  • Collaboration and Faculty Monitoring System for the Tablets
  • Student Response System (Clickers)
  • Multiple Digital Projection Systems
  • Flexible Seating Design

We look forward to hearing from you!
