Respondus and the Respondus Lockdown Browser are two tools licensed by Online Learning to assist faculty in managing and administering quizzes on-campus and online.
Respondus is a quiz management system which allows you to manage question and quiz libraries. Allowing you to then generate print quizzes for use in a face-to-face class, or export those same quizzes for use online through myCourses. With this program for Microsoft Windows/Vista you can leverage your work on tests in the classroom or online.
The Respondus LockDown Browser is a customized browser that increases the security of online testing in myCourses. When students use Respondus LockDown Browser to access a quiz they are unable to print, copy, go to another URL, access other applications or close a quiz until it is submitted for grading. No registration required.
