myCourses the RIT course management system allows instructors to use the online environment to post course-related information, interact with students, and conduct classes in a secure environment.

Online Writing Lab (OWL) provides writing assistance to online students through the RIT Academic Support Center (ASC).

peer2peer is an online peer evaluation tool that allows students to provide their instructors with feedback on themselves and each of their team members. Ratings and comments are anonymous to other students, though they can be shared with other members of the team.

Adobe Connect is a web-based communication tool that allows faculty and students to quickly and easily share presentations, desktops and other materials over the Internet using the familiar PowerPoint application and Adobe Flash format. Connect has robust collaboration tools for discussion, whiteboard and text chat.

Adobe Presenter is a plug-in for PowerPoint that can be used to add voice annotation to instructor presentation. These presentations are pre-recorded and can be accessed by students asynchronously.

Adobe Captivate is a software tool that allows for the creation of tutorials and other presentations that incorporate some type of screen capturing of other software applications.

Clipboard is a highly sophisticated, yet easy-to-use, online survey system. Online Learning has created this tool for campus-wide use. All RIT faculty and staff are free to use this system.

Online Course Evaluation (OCE) system is a fully web-based tool available to all RIT departments and colleges for setting up final course evaluation questions. This password-protected environment (RIT Account) has a secured area for students to anonymously fill out and submit their course feedback.

Respondus is a quiz management system for Microsoft Windows/Vista which allows you to manage question and quiz libraries and then generate print quizzes for use in a face to face class or export those same quizzes for use online through myCourses.

Respondus LockDown Browser is a customized browser that increases the security of online testing in myCourses.

Student Response Systems (SRS) or as they are referred to at RIT, "clickers" are wireless keypads that can be used to gauge the level of understanding from a large audience within seconds.
