What is Respondus LockDown Browser?

Respondus LockDown Browser is a browser, similar to Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Safari, yet is unique. It can create a testing environment that limits how much of the computer students can access while they are taking a quiz in myCourses. Students are unable to print, copy and paste, visit other websites, or use other applications. With Respondus LockDown Browser, students can use their computer normally until they enter a quiz in myCourses. Students are then locked into the browser until they submit the quiz for grading. Respondus LockDown Browser is supported on both Windows and Mac OS X, version 10.3.9 and higher.
